The Epic Games Store: account balance, PIN limits and self-refunds
Epic shows the payment methods available to you at checkout rather than publishing a UK list. Cards and PayPal are always there; the rest varies. Its refund rules mirror Steam's for most games.
Cards and PayPal, plus an account balance you can fund with Fortnite gift cards. Refunds within 14 days and two hours for games marked refundable.

Epic Account Balance
The balance (formerly the Epic Wallet) is money held for Epic purchases, added with a card or PayPal or by redeeming a Fortnite gift card. It cannot be paid out, does not expire and is not transferable. Epic's terms cap it at the equivalent of US$500 held, and US$500 in or out in any 24 hours.
Epic Rewards returns a small percentage of eligible purchases as credit for future buys, shown on each product page.
Refunds
Anything flagged as refundable can go back within a fortnight of purchase if it has run for less than two hours, and many games offer a one-click refund on your account page. Epic lets you cancel a pre-purchase at any point before launch and hands the money back unprompted if the release date moves by over a month. Virtual currency and most in-game items cannot be refunded. If a sale starts during your refund window, you may refund and buy again at the lower price.
Parental controls
Epic's parental controls use a six-digit PIN that can be required before any purchase paid through Epic. Players who say they are under 13 have a daily spending cap of US$100 unless a parent enters the PIN. The controls do not cover console store purchases.
