Making the site work for every reader

We want everyone to be able to compare prices and payment options on Worth the Quid. Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.2, level AA.

What we have done

• You can move through every page by keyboard; a skip link comes first and a brass outline marks where you are.
• Text colours meet AA contrast in both the light and dark looks, and text can be enlarged to 200% without breaking the layout.
• Tables have captions and header cells; score bars and coins carry text alternatives.
• The planner and calculator list their full results without JavaScript, and animations stop if you ask your device for reduced motion.

Known gaps

Screenshots from publishers are decorative and described briefly rather than in full. Some wide comparison tables scroll sideways on small phones rather than reflowing.
