Paying on the Ubisoft Store: no more wallet, and Ubisoft+ on a monthly bill
Ubisoft's store sells its own games and the Ubisoft+ subscription. It closed its wallet in January 2026, which makes it one of the simpler shops to pay in, and one of the stricter ones for add-on refunds.
Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards and PayPal. Games refundable within 14 days and two hours; add-ons and in-game currency are not.

What happened to the wallet
Since 15 January 2026 the Ubisoft Wallet can no longer be created, topped up or used. Remaining balances were turned into single-use vouchers valid until 30 November 2027. Any amount left over after using a voucher is lost, and vouchers cannot pay for Ubisoft+.
Refunds
Ubisoft will refund a PC game from its store inside a fortnight, provided you have played two hours or less. Expansions, season passes, in-game currency and in-game store items cannot be refunded. Ubisoft+ can be refunded under its terms of sale. Reversing a payment through your bank can lose you access to the store and your games.
Pre-orders
The card is charged when your order is processed. To cancel a pre-order you request a refund.
Ubisoft+ prices
Ubisoft+ Classics costs £6.99 a month or £69.99 a year; Ubisoft+ Premium, which includes new releases such as Assassin's Creed Shadows, costs £14.99 a month or £149.99 a year. Both renew until cancelled on the My Subscription page, and access lasts to the end of the month you have paid for.
Family controls
Child accounts cannot buy in-game currency by default. A parent can set a monthly limit for currency, though it does not cover games, add-ons or subscriptions, and is emailed about every purchase a child makes.
